Overview of TerraTec NOXON 2 Audio Wireless Audio Adapter
The NOXON 2 audio is the award-winning little brother of the NOXON 2
radio for iPod. While it can't do everything its big brother can, it
still really shines. Over 10,000 Internet radio stations from the world
over, presorted and easily assigned to station buttons, deliver the
music you can't find in the uniform world of FM radio. A wide range of
podcasts are also available at the touch of a button - get exactly the
information you need straight from the source, without technical
hassles. The NOXON 2 audio is really at home in a network with a
well-stocked hard drive. Regardless of whether you are using a wired or
wireless LAN or HomePlug network, your digital music will finally be on
tap in your bedroom, living room kitchen or bath. Your computer stays
where it belongs - in your home office.
When it comes to good connections, NOXON 2 audio is up there with the
best. Its USB host lets you connect external hard drives and memory
sticks. The Line-Out and Digital-Out ports support active speakers or
full-size HiFi systems. A headphone socket rounds out the selection.
Like all NOXON devices, the NOXON 2 audio can be controlled with a
remote or the buttons on the device. Its clear, easy-to-read display
provides all the information you need. Security and compatibility are
major priorities: all common music formats (including DRM10 for tracks
from Musicload and other vendors), WLAN standards and encryption types
are supported. Your choice of operating system is no problem—software
is included for Windows, Mac and Linux.
